Quotient Clinical (“Quotient”), the innovative provider of early phase drug development services, is pleased to announce that Chief Compliance Officer, Simon Lee, has been elected as Secretary of the European CRO Federation (“EUCROF”).

EUCROF is a non-profit organization that promotes clinical research and supports close relationships and the exchange of information between member associations. It represents over 300 CROs and over 20,000 employees from 18 countries across Europe.

Mr Lee has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and drug delivery industry. His responsibilities as EUCROF Secretary will include undertaking any general and specific activities in support of the EUCROF President and Executive Board in the implementation of agreed initiatives. In addition, Mr Lee will continue to represent EUCROF at various stakeholder meetings at the European Medicines Agency as well as acting as coordinator of EUCROF members in their participation in the user acceptance testing of the EU clinical trial portal and database currently being developed.

He also plans on enhancing communication with EUCROF’s member associations to ensure awareness and encourage support of actions and initiatives.

Quotient is an active member of the Clinical & Contract Research Association (CCRA), the UK’s national association and represents CCRA on several working groups involving the both the Health Research Authority (HRA) and Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
