Medilink Midlands formally acknowledges the outstanding service and leadership of three esteemed Directors, Keith Widdowson, Dr Darren Clark, and Professor Yvonne Barnett, who stepped down from their roles following the organisation’s Annual General Meeting.

Each of these individuals has played a pivotal role in shaping Medilink’s strategic direction, strengthening its governance, and advancing the life sciences sector across the Midlands and beyond.

Keith Widdowson – Honouring two decades of dedication and strategic insight.

Serving as Director of Medilink East Midlands since 2004 and Medilink Midlands since 2017, Keith has been a cornerstone of the organisation’s leadership. His deep expertise as a consultant and his unwavering commitment to the sector have helped foster meaningful industry partnerships and guide Medilink through transformative growth.

Dr Darren Clark – Celebrating visionary leadership and transformational growth.

As CEO of Medilink Midlands, Darren led the organisation through a period of impressive expansion and innovation. His leadership elevated Medilink’s profile nationally, expanded its membership, and strengthened its role in the UK life sciences ecosystem. His transition to serve Medilink as Deputy Chair of the Board ensured a long-lasting legacy.
