This activity aims to provide a focused, structured forum within a single workshop to explore shared workforce challenges across the NHS and life sciences sector, including:
- Recruitment and retention of scarce and specialist talent
- Skills gaps across clinical, scientific, digital and leadership roles
- Pipeline issues (education, apprenticeships, early careers)
- Workforce resilience, wellbeing and productivity pressures
Participants will use the session to surface what is driving these challenges, share what has and hasn’t worked, and identify where collective insight or action could add value, even beyond the workshop itself.
The workshop is also intended to help foster collaboration and support improved delivery.
Who should attend?
- HR Directors, Chief People Officers, Heads of Talent / Workforce
- Senior operational or executive leaders with workforce accountability
Drawn from:
- Large life science and health technology firms
- NHS Trusts and system‑level organisations
