Locally-led Innovation Accelerators delivered in partnership with DSIT, Innovate UK and City Regions
The West Midlands Health Tech Innovation Accelerator (WMHTIA) was a £14 million government-backed programme funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority’s Innovation Accelerator, part of the Innovate UK funding landscape. Led by the University of Birmingham, WMHTIA brought together 21 delivery organisations – including Medilink Midlands – to help regional health and medtech innovators overcome critical barriers to market.
The programme ran centrally coordinated series of activities to help companies to navigate ‘’pinch-points’’ in the process of translation.
Although the WMHTIA is no longer accepting new applications, our work is far from over.
