On 18 May, Medilink Member IMed Consultancy and the City of Mentor, Ohio, joined forces to deliver a webinar on Taking Your Medical Device to the US. Medilink Midlands has worked with the City of Mentor for the past 5 years and IMed Consultancy has been a Medilink Member since 2019.

With the regulatory environment remaining complex in the EU and UK, there has been an uptake in requests for support with entering the US market.

Timothy Bubb, Technical Director at IMed Consultancy and Kevin Malecek, Director of Economic Development and International Trade for the City of Mentor, Ohio, helped attendees to debunk some myths and reveal how a different approach to regulation need not mean it’s more difficult to get products on the market!

Medilink Midlands, the City of Mentor and IMed Consultancy will also all be at the upcoming Med Tech Innovation Expo on 6-7 June.
