The dedicated service arm of Scientific Laboratory Supplies Group (SLS), C&M Scientific, has announced the acquisition of Radison Services Limited.

This acquisition represents a significant step forward in C&M Scientific’s strategy to develop an industry-leading service brand, extending its geographical footprint across the UK and Ireland while reinforcing its commitment to exceptional customer service and support.

Based in Hertfordshire, Radison Services Limited specialises in the installation, validation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of scientific equipment. The company provides engineering support and consultation throughout the South of England, helping clients maintain their research platforms, adhere to accreditation standards, and ensure the ongoing performance of laboratory equipment from world-leading brands.

As part of the acquisition, Radison’s brand will transition under the C&M Scientific umbrella, ensuring a unified approach to its business operations, enabling a more streamlined service for customers across the UK and Ireland. Importantly, all Radison staff, including the service engineers with over 50 years of experience, will be retained, ensuring continuity of expertise and support for customers.

This acquisition allows C&M Scientific to expand its geographical footprint and establish more localised offices and service workshops. These enhancements will improve response times while expanding service capabilities, helping customers to optimise their research and laboratory operations.

Radison Services customers will now benefit from C&M Scientific’s esteemed accreditations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 17025 certifications. Additionally, C&M Scientific operates in full compliance with MHRA, FDA, and GMP standards. The integration of Radison Services aligns with C&M Scientific’s commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant service solutions for laboratories across the UK and Ireland.

This acquisition aligns with the broader SLS Group’s 30-year legacy of supporting the UK scientific sector. The addition of Radison reinforces the group’s commitment to acquiring and investing in organisations that deliver unrivalled customer service and support to laboratories.

Ian Alexander, Managing Director of C&M Scientific, said:

“We are thrilled to welcome Radison Services Limited to the C&M Scientific family. This acquisition is another step in developing an industry-leading service brand, ensuring we continue to put customers first. By integrating Radison’s expertise and local presence with the resources of the SLS Group, we’re able to offer an unrivalled standard of service and support to laboratories across the South of England and beyond.”

David Bowles, Managing Director of Radison Services Limited, added:

“Joining C&M Scientific is an exciting milestone for Radison Services. This deal provides our team with access to the resources and reach of the SLS Group, enabling us to offer even greater service capabilities to our customers. Together, we are committed to delivering an unmatched level of engineering support, helping laboratories maintain their vital equipment and achieve their operational goals.”
