Healthcare Market Access Consultancy Pym’s Consultancy Ltd has been supporting a number of businesses, universities, and third sector organisations for over 9 years and has won multiple industry awards. Pym’s has launched new podcast full of insights and useful information for companies wanting to bring new healthcare technologies into the UK market.

Kate Pym, Managing Director told us “I often receive enquiries from companies and individuals who are already spending hard-earned money on their innovation, without having a strategic plan, or a full understanding of all of the different challenges they will need to overcome to enter the market.  This means that they could be spending money on the wrong things, and then run out of budget when essential steps need to be taken.  As I frequently give new market entrants free time to discuss their innovations, I thought it would be beneficial for people coming into the industry to have a resource where they can learn more about their market before they have invested considerable amounts of time and money – after all you don’t know what you don’t know.  The podcasts are free and cover a very wide range of aspects to consider, from market entry and sales, to regulatory affairs, compliance and working with patients and public.”

Pym’s has a wide network of contacts (including members of Medilink Midlands): associate consultants, clients and wider network influencers who have given up valuable time to help put this podcast series together.  The series is in the form of interviews, with a new episode published each week.

Kate said “Everyone involved has a strong belief in supporting new technologies that can improve the health and wellbeing of patients and staff, and this free resource should hopefully make navigating a path to market entry clearer”.

The podcast is called MedTech for Beginners and can be found on most podcast platform or on their website https://pymsconsultancy.co.uk/medtech-podcast-pyms-consultancy/

A recent episode of MedTech for Beginners featured Medilink Midlands’s own Ben Roberts, Innovation Adviser. You can listen to that episode, here
