As part of its expansion plans in the Nordic region, Potter Clarkson is delighted to announce the opening of a new office in Copenhagen and its forthcoming move to larger premises in Stockholm.

Having worked with companies in the Nordic region for more than 30 years, Potter Clarkson has established itself as a trusted advisor to clients of all sizes, who appreciate the firm’s tailored advice and resolutely commercial focus.

Recent years have seen the firm expand significantly in Sweden, with offices in Lund and Stockholm opening in 2016. This year sees further expansion and investment in the Nordic region.

Headed up by Dr Benjamin Hoffmann, who trained as a Patent Attorney in the UK before moving to Denmark, the new office in the heart of Copenhagen will support Potter Clarkson’s existing and growing client base in the region.

On joining the firm, Benjamin said: “I am excited to be joining Potter Clarkson and building up our IP team in Copenhagen. The positive feedback we have received from existing clients and contacts about the office and the wave of new client enquiries is very encouraging.”

The firm is also expanding in Stockholm, with a forthcoming move to new city-centre premises to meet growing demand in Sweden.

Commenting on the news, Managing Partner, Colin Baker, said: “This is a hugely significant development for our firm and we are looking forward to growing our presence across the region. We have established a strong client base with Swedish and Danish life science companies and, with a larger local team, we will be able to expand our services across a broader range of industry sectors.”

The Potter Clarkson team will be attending various conferences and meetings in the Nordic region in the coming months and sharing more details about the new offices and our future expansion plans.
