Olberon Ltd, a medical device innovations company based in Nottingham, has appointed IMS Euro Ltd as exclusive distributor for it’s unique OTORHINOSCOPE™ to the veterinary market in the UK and Ireland.

The OTORHINOSCOPE™ is a hand-held diagnostic device for both the ear and nasal cavities for essential examination, with a unique dual-purpose expandable speculum.

IMS Euro Ltd is a family business and preferred supplier to many veterinary groups in the UK, Ireland and parts of Europe, primarily distributing consumables for small animals and the equine market. They have recently been awarded the title of ‘Fastest Growing Veterinary Company in the UK 2017’ by Ward Hadaway.

Alan McCarthy, sales manager at IMS Euro Ltd, explained what attracted them to this product, “The OTORHINOSCOPE™ is already used within the GP and hospital market place, which is where we came across it. Currently, veterinary practitioners are challenged daily with multiple species and therefore speculum sizing. The current Otoscope used is often difficult depending on the breed and size of their patients. This new device has a unique but very effective expandable speculum which offers enhanced visibility in small cavities and will consequently save time and money for the veterinary practice.”

Arash Bakhtari, CEO at Olberon Ltd replied “We look forward to a long and successful partnership with IMS for the future and wish them all the best as they start to promote this unique device to vets across the UK and Ireland.”
