Nottingham City Council, in collaboration with key partners, is set to host a milestone event that will shape the future of business support in Nottingham City. The “Future of UK SPF Business Support in Nottingham City” event is poised to gather local businesses, industry leaders, and partners for a day of insight, collaboration, and growth opportunities.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 6th September 2023, from 9:30am to 1:00pm at the Advanced Manufacturing Building, Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham.
The event marks an important occasion as it not only celebrates the accomplishments of European Funded projects but also sets the stage for the upcoming era of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) Business Support in Nottingham.
Designed to benefit Nottingham City’s thriving business community, the event will unveil Nottingham City Council’s SPF delivery plan, presenting attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the forthcoming business growth initiatives and support opportunities.
Key highlights will include; engaging presentations, success stories, project showcases, and collaboration fostering within the community.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Mark Goldby, DL, Chair of the Nottinghamshire Manufacturing Network. With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Goldby’s extensive leadership and manufacturing background includes renowned industry giants Siemens and GPT, as well as his own award-winning businesses. His presentation promises unique insights, drawn from his diverse experience, to inspire and guide business leaders and senior executives.
A diverse array of industry leaders and partners, including Medilink Midlands, the Nottingham City Business Growth Hub Team, The University of Nottingham (UON), Nottingham Trent University (NTU), NBV Enterprise Solutions, Visit Nottingham and Innovate UK, will also address attendees and meet with delegates.
