About our UKSPF Project
Medilink Midlands continues to deliver MeTAP, a UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) programme designed to support business growth across Nottingham City.
Targeting SMEs in the life sciences, health, medtech, digital, and high-tech sectors, the programme will provide intensive innovation support to help businesses scale, enhance productivity, and access new markets.
This support is available to eligible businesses located in all Nottingham City wards.
What the programme offers
MeTAP is designed to remove key barriers to innovation and business development. Support is delivered across four key pillars:
1. 1-2-1 Innovation Support & Peer Networks
Tailored, expert guidance from sector specialists, including:
- Business diagnostics
- One-to-one mentoring
- Peer learning environments
2. Training & Resources
Access to:
- Expert-led webinars
- On-demand learning content: topics include regulation, intellectual property (IP) and commercial readiness.
3. Innovation Grant Funding
Up to £5,000 in innovation grants available
- 50% intervention rate
- Designed to accelerate product/service development and unlock growth potential
4. Future Talent Lab
Connect with skilled talent through:
- Business placements
- Talent forums
- Industry engagement events
