Anglia Ruskin University has been recognised for the contribution it makes to life sciences, by becoming the newest Patron of Medilink Midlands.

Medilink Midlands works with life science businesses, academic institutions and the NHS across the Midlands, to help new and existing life science companies to develop and grow.

In addition to the business support programmes it helps to deliver, Medilink Midlands provides a range of valuable benefits for its Members, including profile-raising, special offers from Medilink Midlands Patrons and Members, discounts on exhibition stands and event offers and discounts.

Anglia Ruskin’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Yvonne Barnett, is a member of the Medilink Midlands Board and has championed the work of Medilink for many years. Professor Barnett’s introduction has led to both organisations discussing how they might best work together and has resulted in Anglia Ruskin University becoming a Medilink Midlands Patron.

Medilink Midlands Patronage is offered to organisations because of their prominence within the Midlands and their recognition of the importance of life sciences in the region. Patrons also appreciate the positive contribution that Medilink Midlands makes to the sector through its business support activities.

One of the largest universities in the East of England, Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has over 20,000 students from 185 countries.
