On Thursday 11 September, Medilink Midlands was honoured to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Life Sciences Award at the Life Sciences Gala Dinner & Awards, part of Life Sciences Week 2025 – a week-long programme of events celebrating the region’s life sciences excellence.

The Gala Dinner brought together organisations and individuals from across the sector to celebrate achievements, highlight innovation, and reflect on the Midlands’ growing influence in the national and global life sciences landscape.

The Outstanding Contribution Award reflects the dedication of our team, Board, members, and partners in working to grow and strengthen the life sciences and health tech ecosystem. This award is recognition of the progress being made and the collaborative spirit that drives our community forward.

We’re proud to see the Midlands’ impact celebrated during Life Sciences Week and thank everyone who voted for us. Most importantly, we thank the colleagues, members and partners who make these achievements possible.

As we celebrate this recognition, we’re also looking forward to our own annual celebration of regional excellence – the Medilink Midlands Business Awards, returning on 23 April 2026. These awards will once again shine a spotlight on the innovation, collaboration and talent that makes the Midlands and surrounding regions of the UK, a powerhouse for life sciences and med tech.

Congratulations to all the organisations and individuals recognised at the Gala Dinner, and to everyone who contributed to another successful Life Sciences Week. Together, we are demonstrating that the Midlands is not only driving innovation here at home but also helping to strengthen the UK’s position on the global life sciences stage.
