Hybrid with travel across the West Midlands

Medilink Midlands Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced Cluster Skills Coordinator who will lead the delivery of the Future Talent Laboratory programme supporting development of future talent across life sciences, MedTech and health technology sectors. to join the current highly skilled team based across the West Midlands.
Medilink Midlands is a membership organisation with over 20 years’ experience as the region’s specialist, not-for-profit provider of life sciences innovation and business support – leading the way as the Voice of Industry and facilitating cluster development and ecosystems to help businesses establish, develop and grow. The Midlands is a world class region for the life science sector home to the largest number of MedTech businesses in the UK with a £1.6b annual regional contribution.
It is an exciting time to be working with and supporting such an impactful sector and we are delighted to be recruiting a Skills Cluster Coordinator to join our Medilink team. You will work within a supportive environment, whilst critically making a difference to the SME’s we support to grow and develop.
We are looking for essential skills and dynamic individuals who can demonstrate the following:
- Lead lifecycle delivery against outputs, milestones, KPIs and budget.
- Coordinate delivery partners across HEIs, NHS Trusts, industry and clinicians.
- Oversee design and delivery of training, workshops, mentoring and qualification content.
- Manage learner onboarding, support and incentive payments.
- Manage employer engagement and incentives.
- Deliver FTL workshops, large events and Education Lab series.
- Coordinate marketing, digital comms and event promotion.
- Track KPIs, produce reports, maintain compliance documentation.
- Gather learner feedback and support improvements.
Skills & Experience:
We are seeking individuals who are committed to developing talent across the life sciences and MedTech sectors, who can drive meaningful impact, and who embody the Medilink Midlands values by supporting skills growth, employer engagement and regional workforce development.
Essential:
- Programme/project management experience in education, skills or life sciences.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Experience managing events.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement.
- Strong written, verbal and digital communication.
- Data analysis and reporting ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Experience in MedTech or life sciences.
- Understanding of FE/HE frameworks.
- Experience with sponsorships or partnerships
- Knowledge of regional workforce priorities.
