Being fairly new to the East Midlands life sciences community. I have come from working in software development in healthcare and also the previous director of Docman where I was responsible for innovation and roadmaps for healthcare products. My new role as interim Commercial Director (whilst current Commercial Director Chris Hart is on a Sabbatical) has provided a great opportunity to see the extent of activities in the region. There are a wide range of companies, at various stages of development operating across the full spectrum of life sciences.

Innovation day provided the opportunity to meet companies from pharma, med-tech, and technology. In addition the NHS hospital Trusts and university sectors which were well represented, making it a great opportunity for making quality connections.

EMAHSN continued its support for the Medilink innovation awards this year, as a sponsor for the category ‘Collaboration with the NHS’ won by Questmark Ltd who supply video consultation solutions to the NHS.

Medilink is a close partner with EMAHSN with a number great initiatives in the line-up this year to support industry and life sciences.
