The region’s most innovative and impactful healthtech and life sciences companies were recognised at the Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2025, held at the iconic Grand Station in Wolverhampton on Thursday night (May 8).

Organised by Medilink Midlands, the awards brought together industry leaders, clinicians, academics, and investors to celebrate organisations driving innovation, improving patient outcomes, and delivering economic growth.

Winners were crowned across 11 categories, with two special awards – Outstanding Achievement and One to Watch – concluding the evening. Many of the regional winners will now progress to represent the Midlands at the national Medilink UK Awards, taking place in London in July, where they will compete against peers from across the five Medilink regional organisations supporting life sciences and medtech across the UK and Wales.

Professor Martin Levermore MBE DL, Chair of Medilink Midlands said:

“These awards celebrate not only individual achievement, but also the strength and collaborative spirit of our region. Every finalist represents a story of determination, creativity, and impact – pushing boundaries in research, digital health, advanced manufacturing, and patient-centred care. I’m immensely proud of what we’re achieving together across the Midlands.”

Both added a unique flair to the evening.

Melanie Davidson, CEO of Medilink Midlands, commented:

“These awards showcase the exceptional work happening in the Midlands and the East of England. Congratulations to all our finalists and winners – we’re proud to support your journey and look forward to cheering on our regional champions at the national Medilink UK Awards this summer.
