Fresh Logistics, who specialise in offering temperature controlled logistical solutions for their customers, have been honoured for the third time as ‘Refrigerated Courier of the Year’ at the Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution awards 2017.

The event was held at the impressive Ricoh Arena and featured many of the major names within the industry, including fellow winners Iceland, Yearsley’s, McCulla, Arla and Chiltern.

The judges on the evening stated that the award for ‘Refrigerated Courier of the Year’ was ‘A hard fought category with high quality operators vying for the honours, but with the substantial number of quality nominations received from customers there could only be one winner this year.’

Fresh originally won the award back in 2013. Back then the company operated with ten vehicles out of a single site in Long Eaton, Nottingham. The company has since grown significantly, running vehicles out of Derby, Wembley and Manchester, has two refrigerated warehouses and a fleet size of over forty top of the range temperature controlled vehicles.  As well as developing their custom built suite of offices in Derby, emlc.space, which they make available as conference & meeting facilities to the industry, giving a further niche offering to their customers.

Managing Director Alan White stated ‘An accolade of this stature is a huge honour, especially as it is generously voted for by our customers. Winning the award for the third time shows that not only is Fresh Logistics the best in class and industry, it shows that we are extremely consistent too. This gives us a great foundation to build the business further and ensure we stay ahead of the competition.’

It’s been a remarkable few years for Fresh Logistics, who are now the go to temperature controlled logistics firm for many household names in the Food, Pharmaceutical and Carbon Fibre industries. You may have seen the recent hugely successful Ribena marketing campaign, where Fresh provided the entire warehousing and transportation support delivering over a million chilled bottles of Ribena around the UK in a 5-week period.
