Temperature controlled logistical solutions firm Fresh Logistics is opening a new, strategically located, depot in Leigh, Manchester which adds to their two existing sites in Derby and Wembley. The depot has been introduced due to an increasing workload in the area and to add an improved response time for the current and future North West customer base. It will also provide fantastic links to Scotland.

Managing Director Alan White, who has recently been named in the SHD Logistics 100 and the Derby Evening Telegraph’s Inspirational 250, stated:

‘We are entering an exciting phase in our development with this expansion into Manchester. We already have a growing customer base in the area, including several major food producers and branches of the NHS, so it was the ideal opportunity to add a new depot which will feature extra top of the range, dual compartment Vans, 7.5t’s and 18t’s.

Fresh Logistics has seen remarkable growth since their inception in 2008 with seedling finance of just £5,000. They are projecting turnover for this financial year to be in the region of £3,500,000. With a wealth of industry expertise amongst their ranks Fresh have excelled in providing bespoke solutions at the drop of a hat. As temperature controlled specialists, Fresh have worked across the food, pharmaceutical, healthcare, carbon fibre and hazardous goods sectors throughout the UK and Europe.
