Medilink EM Patron The East Midlands Academic Health Science Network is currently supporting the provision of free online PINCER training delivered by PRIMIS.

PINCER is a proven Pharmacist-led IT-based intervention to reduce clinically important medication errors in primary care.

The training aimed at pharmacists and technicians is the ideal intervention to use in the current climate by identifying patients at high risk of avoidable harm from medicines and reduces unnecessary visits to healthcare providers.

The online training format provides flexibility and training can be undertaken at the most suited time to the individual.

The training is a mixture of self-guided learning and webinars, with essential resources to underpin learning – view a stage by stage overview of the training here.

First dates for live online learning session (more dates available in October, November and December which can be viewed in the training area once registration is complete):

  • Tuesday 15 September, 1pm
  • Wednesday 30 September, 1pm
