Barker Brettell has been awarded ‘Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year 2019’ in the UK by Managing IP, the global intellectual property resource for the profession, at its European, Middle Eastern and African Awards ceremony held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
The trade mark team stood out from other competitors in the United Kingdom category by demonstrating its excellence in handling the most innovative and challenging IP work in the past year, as well as being considered as a significant participant in driving the international IP market.
This is the third accolade for the 25-strong team in 2019, having already been awarded World Trademark Review (WTR) gold tier status, and being ranked as the second highest trade mark filer in the UK by the 2018 EU TM Filing Statistics for UK Law Firms.
