Barker Brettell, the UK-headquartered intellectual property (IP) specialist, opened the doors of its new Swedish office on the 1st March 2019. Liselott Enström, a Swedish trade mark attorney with 25 years’ experience in the profession, will join the firm in the Stockholm bureau.
The firm, which currently has a 25-strong trade mark team of professional and support staff, is ranked gold tier in WTR1000 2019, with five trade mark partners singled out for special mentions due to their outstanding performance. The second highest trade mark filer in the UK, according to the 2018 European Trademark Filing Statistics for UK Law, Barker Brettell has identified Europe as a focus for continued direct client growth and for new opportunities, particularly in the current economic and political climate.
