Medilink Midlands is delighted to welcome Abigail (Abi) Phillips to the team as Delivery & HTC Programme Manager, further strengthening the organisation’s capacity to deliver impactful programmes and drive collaboration across the region.
Abi joined in November 2025 and brings a strong background in managing programmes and building partnerships across diverse sectors. With extensive experience in delivering complex projects and fostering collaboration, Abi is passionate about connecting organisations and supporting initiatives that create meaningful impact across the Midlands.
Abi said:
“I joined Medilink Midlands to contribute to its mission of connecting and supporting businesses across the region. I’m excited to bring my experience in programme delivery and stakeholder engagement to help deliver impactful projects and strengthen collaboration.”
Abi’s appointment builds on recent team growth following the integration of the West Midlands Health Technologies Cluster (WMHTC). Emma Yeap, Cluster Manager – who joined the organisation in October as part of the WMHTC ownership announcement, continues to play a key role in supporting programme delivery and engagement with partners and members.
Melanie Davidson, CEO of Medilink Midlands, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Abi to the Medilink Midlands team. Her experience and passion for partnership working will be invaluable as we continue to expand our programme delivery and strengthen our role in supporting innovation across the region. Alongside Emma’s continued contribution through the WMHTC transition, this marks an important step in ensuring we build even greater capability and continuity for our members, partners, and the wider life sciences community.”
With this strengthened delivery team, Medilink Midlands is well positioned to continue driving forward the WMHTC programme, fostering collaboration, and supporting the growth of health and life sciences businesses across the Midlands.
