Life Science Group (LSG), one of the UK’s leading suppliers of life science manufacturing and research solutions, has achieved ISO 13485 accreditation for its manufacture of medical devices from the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Jenny Murray, Managing Director, Life Science Group Ltd, said: “We are delighted to be awarded the ISO 13485 accreditation to further enhance the quality of our robust systems, processes and practices. The team have worked extremely hard for this regulatory requirement to ensure the safety and quality of our life science products and to support the future growth of the company.

More importantly, our global customers will now have increased confidence in our quality, traceability and integrity through this internationally recognised world class mark.”

This ISO accreditation is in addition to the existing ISO 9001:2015 and is one of several accreditations achieved by the company this year, including the renewal of the International Serum Industry Association (ISIA) Traceability Certification and Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) approval. LSG have also continued their membership of the British In Vitro Diagnostic Association (BIVDA), Medilink Midlands and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

Life Science Group Ltd offer technical expertise and experience to provide traceable, customisable solutions through its three divisions of: Life Science Production, Antibody Production Services and Diagnostic Kit Services.
